Description
Would you
like to discover one of the most important monuments in Córdoba with a professional
and historian guide? With this 2-hours guided tour you will discover the
reasons why this monument was declared World Heritage in 2018 by the UNESCO and
also the meaning of Shinning City of Medina Azahara. This is one of the biggest
archaeological sites in Spain and it is the symbol of the power of Córdoba
during the Caliphate of Al-Andalus.
We will
take 2 hours to meet the complete complex and all the details of this old
palatial city that was built during the kingdom of Abderraman III. We will discover
the palace of the Caliph: its structures, the courtyards and the different
rooms. Then, the tour continues by walking around all the rest of the city: the
main entrance from Córdoba or the traces of one its four mosques.

- Come 10 minutes before the start of
the tour.
- If you choose the option with the
bus included, our tour guides will wait in the bus stop called Glorieta Cruz
Roja at 10.15h.
- If you prefer go to Medina Azahara
with your vehicle, our tour guide will wait in the Parking of the monument at
10.30h.
- Tour not accessible for the people with reduced mobility (unpaved roads and slopes)
- It is recommended water, sun care and cap in the hot seasons.
